Introduction
A framework Chunghwa Telecom ecommerce Public Key Infrastructure (ePKI) was set up by Chunghwa Telecom (CHT). Its purpose is to issuing certificates and strengthen electronic commerce infrastructure.
  
It is the Hierarchy PKI based on ITU-T X.509 standard, within the framework, an ePKI Root Certification Authority (eCA) acts as the trust anchor and issues certificates to subordinate certification authority (CA). There is one subordinate certification authority, Public CA (PublicCA), issues certificates to the general public including natural persons, organizations, equipment, and application software.

eCA has accomplished the annual Trust Service for CA 2.0 audit and published the renewed audit report via WebTrust program for CA on 25-Dec-2012.

Because of the consolidation of ISMS implementation in Chunghwa Telecom Data Communication Business Group, the logo and the ISO 27001:2005 certificate which is valid to Oct, 2012 and issued to Value-Added Services division by Bureau Veritas Certification will be retrieved by the certification body in Jan,2012.
